In English, there are four skills that students should understand. In addition,
each student still has to learn about the fewest of these four skills. These are
divided into several sub-material which one is be understood by students, namely
grammar and vocabulary. This study will be focused on vocabulary which has
different difficulties in the learning process. This study will be delivered by using
media Kahoot, which one are closest media technology for studies in the students'
learning. Some students lack learning English and never study vocabulary. Then,
this study aims to know the improvement of vocabulary students by using media
Kahoot. The subject of this study includes 30 students in the eighth grade with
used descriptive qualitative methods. The collecting data will be divided into 3
steps observation, questionnaire and interview. The result of this study shows that
using has an impact on the learning process, especially on the learning
vocabulary. The data shows that most of the students agreed about using media
Kahoot as an alternative to improve their learning of English, especially in
vocabulary.
