Interstellar Medium

Solar wind is the continuous flow of the ionized gas from the sun corona.
Solar wind carries high-energy particles with very hot temperatures. The flow is
removed from the sun in the form of charged particles (plasma).
The blowing
of the solar wind can cause the comet to appear to have a tail and influence the
shape of the interplanetary space terrain in the solar system in particular the Earth’s
magnetosphere and interstellar medium. The Earth’s magnetosphere is the Earth’s
magnetic field that forms the magnetic area that envelops the Earth, while the
interstellar medium is a material that fills interstellar space. The purpose of this
study was to examine the interaction of solar wind with the Earth’s magnetosphere
and interstellar medium. The method used in this research is by looking for many
and appropriate literature, so the information obtained is more accurate. The results
obtained from analyzing the theories that exist that the solar wind interaction with the
Earth magnetosphere and interstellar medium is almost the same as both can drive
and protect the solar system from the solar wind.
