Abstract
This study aims to determine (1) whether reward affects employee performance, (2) whether
punishment affects employee performance, (3) and whether leadership also affects employee
performance. This study stems from the phenomenon that occurred in CV Warna Prima Laundry
where in 2022 there was a decline in employee performance, as well as different research findings on
the effect of reward, punishment and leadership on employee performance.
Departing from these problems, this study developed a research model that was empirically tested
to re-explain the variables that can affect employee performance using data obtained from
questionnaires to CV Warna Prima Laundry employees. The test was performed using multiple linear
regression analysis.
The results showed that : (1) reward affects employee performance (2) punishment has no effect on
employee performance, (3) leadership affects employee performance.
