Abstract
This quantitative research aims to analyze the influence of workload, work
stress and non-physical work environment on warehouse employee turnover at PT
Sumber Alfaria Trijaya DC Semarang. The sample of this research is warehouse
employees, totaling 228 respondents. This research uses a simple random
sampling method using probability sampling techniques. This research uses the
SPSS 26 software measurement analysis tool. The research results show that
workload, work stress, and non-physical work environment partially have a
negative and significant effect on turnover. The biggest influence of the three
variables is workload with a beta value of -.396, meaning that workload is too
high and workload is too low, which correlates with low turnover, but an increase
in the workload curve will lead to something sensitive to turnover intention.
Suggestions for workload are to pay attention to effective workload management,
training and development, work flexibility, and employee welfare support systems,
for job stress looking for clear and challenging goals, career development,
recognition and appreciation, and for non-physical work environments it can
increase in the form of salary and benefits, good working relationships,
appropriate work procedures, supportive leadership characteristics, and being
able to work over time .
Keywords: workload, job stress, non-physical work environment and turnover
intention.
