DINAMIKA PERILAKU MENABUNG MAHASISWA: MOTIF MENABUNG, DAN KESADARAN KEUANGAN DENGAN KONTROL DIRI SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

The study’s goal was to investigate the connection between saving behavior,
self-control, financial awareness, and saving motivations. Knowing self-control as
a mediation between saving motives and financial awareness of saving behavior.
The population is Management students of PGRI Semarang University group of
2021-2022. This study applied quantitative methods. In this study, a simple
sampling method utilized in this research to establish the sample to 251
respondents. Samples were obtained by filling out questionnaires through Google
Form, processed, and analyzed with the SPSS Program. This study employs
multiple regression analysis the assess the data, and regression analysis with
intervening variables is employed to verify the hypothesis.
Result indicate saving behavior are influenced by saving motivate, financial
awareness, and self-control. Furthermore, the association between saving behavior
and financial awareness may be mediated by self-control from Management
Students Universitas PGRI Semarang Class 2021-2022.
