Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of financial literacy,
financial inclusion and individual modernity on driving behavior through self-
control as mediation in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business. This
research is an associative research with a quantitative approach. The population
in this study is students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of
PGRI Semarang. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling using the
slovin formula which totals 314 respondents. The data analysis technique uses
Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the SmartPLS 3.0 application.
Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a positive and
significant influence of financial literacy on saving behavior, there is a positive
and significant influence of financial inclusion on saving behavior, there is a
positive and significant influence of individual modernity on saving behavior,
there is a positive and significant influence of self-control on saving behavior and
there is a positive and significant role of self-control as a mediator between
financial literacy, financial inclusion and individual modernity towards saving
behavior.
