Abstract
The progress and success of a company in running its business cannot be
separated from the HR factor (human resources). HR in a company can function
as a company asset. Employee development must be prioritized, so that employee
skills can be maintained and improved. Based on this, this research aims to
analyze the influence of work performance, teamwork and competence on
employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable. This
research was conducted at CV Berkah Surya Abadi, Kendal. The research method
uses a type of quantitative research using a sample of 106 employees in the
company. The technique used in collecting data uses a questionnaire as a data
collection instrument. Data processing techniques use the SmartPLS 3
application.
Based on research at CV Berkah Surya Abadi Kendal, the results
obtained: Work performance has a positive effect on employee performance, Work
performance has a positive effect on motivation, Teamwork can have a positive
effect on employee performance, Teamwork has a positive effect on motivation,
Competence has a positive effect on employee performance, Competence has a
positive effect on employee performance, Motivation has a positive effect on
employee performance, Motivation is able to mediate the effect of work
performance on employee performance, Motivation is able to mediate the effect of
Teamwork, Motivation is able to mediate the effect of competence on employee
performance
