This research is motivated by the majority of students in the Pancasila and
Citizenship Education Study Program who have complied with campus regulations
which are based on the aim of realizing the vision and mission of the study program
on the Development of Character Based on Pancasila through learning, which in its
implementation in the field has been achieved optimally. The formulation of the
problem in this research is how to cultivate civic disposition through learning in the
Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program at PGRI University Semarang.
This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The
focus of this research is how to instill civic dispositions by lecturers in students
through learning in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program. The
sub-focuses in this research are, 1) Types of instilling Civic Disposition through
learning in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, 2) Process of
Cultivating Civic Disposition through Learning in the Pancasila and Citizenship
Education Study Program. The methods used to collect data are interviews,
observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data
condensation, presentation and conclusions. Data validity using source
triangulation.
The results of the research show that Civic Disposition is cultivated through
learning in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program at PGRI
University Semarang. There is an instillation of civic values related to civic
disposition consisting of instilling the values of discipline, responsibility, tolerance,
mutual assistance and honesty through learning carried out through three activities,
namely habituation, development and learning. These activities are carried out in
an integrated manner at the beginning, middle and end of learning. Development
activities have been running optimally, this is shown by the implementation of non-
academic activities that most PPKn students participate in both on campus and
outside campus which support the development of student attitudes and character.
Learning includes three stages, namely planning, implementation and assessment.
Planning is outlined in the RPS, implementation is carried out with learning
activities with academic bills in the middle and end of the semester, then affective
and psychomotor assessments.
